Programme Notes
With this production, the Fairlight
Players return to comedy and the strong cast is directed by our new
producer E.T. Warden.
We are pleased to welcome back Allan
Powell who gives his usual "sure touch" to the role of Val Radnage,
ably supported by Rosemary Kirkpatrick, who makes her debut with the
Players as Pauline Radnage.
Marjorie Vandervord as Grace the family
servant once again brings her ininitable flair for character
portrayal.
Alex Mailer and Betty Neville as the two
guests Mrs. Robinson and Violet Hedges offer their compined skills
to two difficult roles.
Val Radnage's level headed girl friend,
Josphine, is played by Sandra Gallop, whilst the Welsh "Man about
drains" - Taffy, is played by Bert Gallop.
Completing the cast is Edward Garrard,
who as the "Man In Dark Glasses" - Wilfred James, reveals once again
his natural talent for the light comedy part.
"The Man in Dark Glasses" is a play full
of fun and should prove enjoyable entertainment.
